Cult inventory (CTH 526.15) Textual tradition
Basis of the edition The present edition is based on the photographs available at the Mainzer Photoarchiv of the Hethitologie Portal Mainz, as well as the available hand-copies and relevant secondary literature up to 2019. When the original manuscripts have been collated, this is noted in the commentary. Commentary Collated (March 2020). Fragment of a two-columned tablet (max preserved thickness 32 mm); the clay, now orange in color, is interspersed with many pebbles. Surface badly abraded. The extant portion of text treats cult images of a Storm god and a divine mountain as well as seasonal festivals, and mentions the construction of a shrine with a cella for the pithos (line 13′). The name of the inventoried town is not preserved. The last word of the paragraph in line 10′ is right justified. Palaeography and orthography: Script size 3 mm. Note the spelling aš-nu-wa-an-zi (line 5′), which is rather uncommon in the corpus.
